![The Doctor: Julius Erving
I saw a picture of Dr. J yesterday and thought to myself, “I NEED to do an illustration of that fro!” So I did. My latest [quick] illustration featuring the man who was the face of the ABA, Julius Erving (and his fro).

THE ANSWER: ALLEN IVERSON
Currently entrenched in the second round of the NBA Playoffs, I remembered how much I miss watching Allen Iverson play. Iverson was always one of my favorite players to watch because of the heart he displayed on the court. The year he dragged that Sixers team to the finals before falling to the Lakers was one of the best individual efforts I’ve ever witnessed. His game was far from conventional but he brought it every night – well, every GAME night…we all know his feelings towards practice.

Also, you may be wondering what is reflecting in his eye – it’s kind of hard to see low res online:

One of the best moments from Iverson’s career – when he crossed up Lue, hit the shot and then coolly stepped over him on his way back down the court.
If you purchase an Iverson print I’ll throw in a bonus 4″ x 6″ print of this for free.

MVP! MVP! MVP!
LeBron James received his 3rd MVP award and I did this quick illustration. It was a proud Mother’s Day for both our moms.

Jason Statham: Expendable
I did this illustration in honor of ’The Expendables 2′ (coming out this summer) and Jason Statham (probably the greatest action star today).
This one was purely for me, but if you happen to like it 20 11″ x 14″ Limited Edition Prints are available for $60 (each will be printed on metallic paper and come numbered). If you are interested, please contact me.

Brothers: Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook
Apparently Oklahoma City Thunder fans can’t get enough of my stuff. My latest commissioned piece features teammates Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. Out of respect to the client who commissioned this piece, this is not available as a print. However, I may create an alternate version for a Limited Edition run so if you are interested definitely let me know on Twitter or Facebook.
Thanks! I have not done a Pau illustration, but being a Suns fan it pains me to admit that I have done 2 Kobe illustrations (here and here).
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to comment.

In honor of Mad Men finally coming back here’s my illustration of Christina Hendricks I did a couple of years back.
Peyton Manning, Denver Bronco (CRAP!)
Well, it’s official. Peyton Manning has chosen to play for the Denver Broncos. Personally, I can’t see how playing in the freezing cold Mile High City with a hurt neck is a good decision but I’m just bitter he didn’t choose my Arizona Cardinals. In the spirit of good sportsmanship, I revised my #PEYTON2AZ illustration to reflect his new team.
This is available as a Limited Edition 24″ x 12″ print. Each metallic print will come signed and numbered. Contact me if you are interested.

Michael Jordan: GOAT (revisited)
I was looking at the Michael Jordan illustration I had done previously and realized that I wasn’t too happy with how it turned out. So I refreshed the colors a bit and changed up the background. While I like the refreshed version much better, I would love to hear your thoughts. Comments, ratings, likes, hitting me up on Twitter / FB or even smoke signals are all welcome.
Open Edition prints are available.
